I'm waiting with bated breath for the release of Makai Kingdom next week. From what I've seen of it, it looks like a bizarre combination of Disgaea and Starcraft. Yes, I say Starcraft not Warcraft because there's crazy tanks and laser rifles and all manner of insanity. EB has an interesting way of shipping that if you pre-order something you can pick it up at the store and pay like normal, but you get the bonus pre-order stuff with it as well. Good deal. I'd have bought it at work, but we apparently aren't getting in any copies like I had thought according to the company website, so I figured I'd take that route. Speaking of games, I'm about at the "last" dungeon in Atelier Iris. The way they do the battle system is a bit annoying, as you're more than always outnumbered 2-1 and always immensely underpowered. I'm still waiting to unlock a few of the synthesizing recipes for the decent armor, but I did manage to make a chronolex at last. I'm missing a mana somewhere also, as I'm still unable to make any items that use holy mana. The downside to being so damn far in the game is that all the faqs on gamefaqs are nowhere near at the point that I am. It rather sucks.
It feels like I've been reading for two straight weeks. Last week I read the first of the newly translated Vampire Hunter D novels, and this week I've been reading The Half-Blood Prince. I must say so far I'm quite happy with it, and glad that some of my inklings about things are coming true. Next month the 2nd Vampire Hunter D novel comes out, so I'm looking forward to that. I actually went back and watched the first movie again to see the differences between that and the book. As far as I could tell, it was a pretty good translation. Since Dark Horse was involved, I expected nothing less since they're probably the oldest company to do translations in the industry. If you have the means, and by means a car and an ability to travel and/or walk, I suggest you read it for yourself. It'll be a good couple of days if nothing else.
Saturday I get to work at the 164th store. It'll be interesting, since I've never worked at any store besides our archaic and slightly run-down store. I'm well out of there before we have to start putting things away, so I just have to run interference with customers. Should prove interesting to see how other stores besides ours are run. Should prove educational if nothing else.

Me: Yeah?
Sam: Would you still love me if I were a zombie?
Me: ..................what?"
...We're a reality couple sans the cameras.
